The founder of Newport Beach-based DAiM, is no stranger to managing risk and being on the forefront of innovation as we head into a new digital era and the 21st Century financial landscape.
Impacted by the housing meltdown during the Great Recession, the Florida entrepreneur relocated to New York City to trade options in the pit of the exchange. Within a few years he was managing a desk of brokers as the head of equity derivative sales at a Broker-Dealer. During that time he became an Options Principal and General Securities Principal holding the Series 4,7,24,55,63, and currently the Series 65.
Mike has over 10 years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to joining DAiM he spent 6 years overseeing investment operations and strategy at a traditional RIA in Newport Beach (TFG).
Mike first discovered Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in 2016 and ever since has sought ways to incorporate this new asset class into an overall investment strategy. Mike graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Economics/Mathematics. He holds the Series 63 license and was awarded the CFA charter in 2016.
Drew’s professional background brings over 20 years of business development, operational strategy, and program management to DAiM. Most recently, he’s held executive and advisory roles in technology and real estate development firms. Drew was first introduced to Bitcoin in 2013 before returning to grad school.
He still spends the majority of his time thoroughly researching the ever-evolving digital asset space, with a particular focus on corporate investing for treasury and risk management, and the preservation of capital. Drew holds a BS in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Excels in driving revenue growth, nurturing startup ecosystems, and building valuable industry networks.
